Language Excellence Style Guides (日本語スタイル ガイド; jpn-jpn-StyleGuide.chm) が公開されています。

Style Guides contain a collection of rules that define language and style conventions for specific languages. These rules include general localization guidelines, information on language style and usage in technical publications, and information on market specific data formats.

ソフトウェアのダイアログやマニュアルになどにどんな言葉を使うのが適切か (Windows 標準か) が詳しく記述されているので、ローカルに保存していつでも参照できるようにしておくのがいいと思います。
